Day 1: After breakfast leave Beach Hotel and proceed to Yala. Sri Lanka's most known national part is popular for Elephant, Leopard, Bear Crocodile and Wild Boar. At 97,800 hectares, this is the second largest of Sri Lanka's national parks It's open undulating terrain made it famous for elephants for many years. Claims have subsequently been made that Yala National Park has the world's highest concentration of leopard per square kilometer. This park is primarily shrub jungle with several salt and fresh water lagoons. The areas popular with leopard are rock strewn hillocks with dense shrub in which the animals hide.

P.M : Jeep safari to the Yala National Park. Dinner & overnight at Yala Village or similar.

Day 2: After Breakfast leave for the beach resort en route visiting Wevurukannala Temple and precede via Ratnapuura the gem city of the island

Day 1: Proceed to Kandy visiting Tea factories, en-route.

Kandy - Kandy a lovely city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings retains an aura of grandeur, which time has not affected. Encircled by hills, will a tranquil lake in its center, it is the site of the renowned 'Temple of the Tooth'. and the Royal Botanical gardens home to one of the best collections of orchids. Kandy and its satellite villages is the center of the island's handicraft industry and its traditional dances are the most spectacular in the country.

P.M: Sightseeing tour of Kandy including visits to Temple of the Tooth Relic, Upper lake Dive and Market Square. Late evening witness a Kandyan dance performance, shopping etc.

Temple of The Tooth Relic - Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy is the most venerated place of worship for Buddhists throughout the world. Built in the 16th century, this temple houses the sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha brought to Sri Lanka from the Kalinga Province in ancient Indian in the 4. century AD. Several building have been added to the temple complex by successive rulers, the latest being the Golden canopy over the inner shrine where the Tooth Relic is placed. Originally the Temple was within the King's palace complex as it was the symbol of Royal Authority.

Day 2: After breakfast leave for Royal Botanical Gardens.

Royal Botanical Gardens - is believed to be one of the most beautiful gardens in South Asia and begun as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala King. Every variety tropical and temperate tree and flower is cultivated here and special houses with orchids and e cacti are too beautiful to be true. Special features are the Orchid House which displays a fine collection of Sri Lanka orchids, the fernery, spice garden, and the trees planted by distinguished visitors to the Island.

Thereafter proceed to the Elephant Orphanage in time to witness the bottle feeding and bathing of the baby elephants around lunch time.

Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela - Pinnawela orphanage is situated northwest of the town Kegalle, halfway between the present capital of Colombo and the ancient royal residence Kandy in the hills of central Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife department. This 24 acres large elephant orphanage is an also breeding place for elephants, more than twenty elephants were bom since 1984, and it has the greatest herd of elephants in captivity in world.
